С тех пор у Кадзуны начинается новая жизнь, если, конечно, можно назвать жизнью существование вампира…

      Roger Waters himself said that the song is about a particularly delirious feeling he had as a child, and how sometimes hed feel something similar as an adult. Hence the line When I was a child I had a fever/My hands felt just like two balloons/
      Now Ive got that feeling once again.
      Contrary to popular belief, this song isnt about drugs!

  42. Minty Python did a comedy sketch depicting Floyds drummer who after a while of belting out some psychedelic beats stood up and went for a wee behind one of the speakers. He sat down payed a bit longer and the set blew-up.
    Somebody then asked the drummer what went wrong. The drummer said, Some idiot just peed on the f. ck in speakers! (oblivious to the fact it was him). Has anybody seen this scetch and if so why is it not on YouTube?

  56. This gorgeous, beautiful, timeless, moving song always gets right to how I feel in the core of my depression…in a way it also reminds me of Dr Jekell and Mr. Hyde. Waters, being Dr, Hyde, and Gilmore being Dr. Jekell…their contrast is so beautiful and so tragic…Hyde wins…he always wins and twists Jekyll, no matter how he wishes he could escape into that imp of destruction simply through a medication administration, hence In The Flesh…Hyde has overtaken the last strands of sanity Jekyll had…

Its been about half a decade since Ive read the novella, but as I was listening to this song, it suddenly flashed into my mind….this is what I love of about concept albums…you can listen multiple times even from childhood, like I have with this album, and still feel and think and know something different about it each time.       Make no mistake this is one of my all-time favorite songs but best guitar solo? There have been far too many truly epic solos for me to pick just one. Twist-up some girl scout cookies, grab some old school blotter, grab those headphones and listen the full versions of Freebird live and Stairway to heaven (the half-speed masters if you can get them )

  91. I love this song I was in the hospital once in pain the doctor had prescribed some morphine and when the nurse put it in my IV I felt it go up my arm down to my toes and when it got to the top of my head well let’s just say I understood this song a lot better
